BERNARD'S WORD REMEMBERS PROPHET BOB JONES

After being buried in the snow that fell in rapid succession on Wednesday afternoon I finally was able to get out and take care of some business. I was in a local business standing in line and I pulled out my phone to read the latest news feed on Facebook when I saw some devastating news. Joann McFatter announced that Prophet Bob Jones died this morning. The news hit me real hard as the news of death often does. I felt a loss even through I didn't know Prophet Jones that well. I met him once, last spring at a conference held by Morning Star Ministries. But that one meeting was an encounter that I will never forget.
I became aware of Prophet Jones ministry a few years ago. Being a student of prophecy and the prophetic ministry I was drawn to this prophet who was born in Arkansas and came to be known as one of the Kansas City Prophets, a company of prophets that have been held in reverence and disdain in the Body of Christ. After reading his prophetic words and watching Prophet Jones on You Tube I was very interested in meeting this man who walked in a level of prophetic revelation that has caused many to compare him to the prophet Daniel.

My son Quincy started attending Morning Star University in Fort Mill South Carolina in January 2013. In a Sunday Service Prophet Jones spoke  a word over my son and prayed for him. Months later Holy Spirit came to Quincy and told him that it was time for him to begin his ministry. Holy Spirit later revealed to me that because Prophet Jones prophesied and prayed over my son that he was free from snares and could enter ministry. The words of 2 Chronicles 20:20 says believe the prophet and you will prosper came to life in my son because of his encounter with Prophet Bob Jones. Our family prayed about what school Quincy should attend after he finished high school in 2012 and Holy Spirit directed us to Morning Star. And it was there that Quincy met this incredible prophet would spoke the word of the Lord and caused Quincy to prosper. WOW! Talk about seasons, timing and alignment.

Like Quincy I also would have a prophetic encounter with Prophet Bob Jones. In a dream in January 2013 I was in a Dollar General Store and Prophet Jones was behind the cash register  and he reached out and gave me something. When I awakened I knew that Holy Spirit was showing me that I would meet the prophet and I would receive an impartation from him. A few months later I learned that Morning Star Ministries was having a conference for the Joshua Generation, believers who were over the age of 50. This generation was being called together to prepare them to be the apostolic fathers and mothers to the young generation. On Saturday of the conference Prophet Jones would be speaking. I heard Holy Spirit say I needed to be at that conference, even though I am a few years away from turning 50, and I would receive what Jones had for me.

I registered and in Mid May I attended the conference. The night before I left I heard God speak in a human audible voice for the second time in my life (The first time I was seventeen and God was calling me into ministry). God was preparing me for this encounter. On Saturday I was among the conference attendee who heard Bob Jones say that this generation would break forth first and the youth would break forth following this generation. Bob Jones said that the enemy would not be able to deceive this generation anymore because they would receive the Father's wisdom. Jones said that this generation should get a vision for being over 100 years because they would live that long. This generation is the first of the harvesters to go out and gather the harvest. Get ready, Prophet Jones said to raise up harvesters to go and receive the harvest.When I go home, Jones said, the harvest will not end but it will continue. The amount of the harvest will be determined by the number of the harvesters. This harvest will be one billion souls, most of them will be youth.
There was so much that Prophet Jones said that day. When we took a break after Prophet Bob and his wife Prophet Bonnie was done speaking I walked over to Bob Jones with a gift in my hand. Holy Spirit told me the day before what to give him. It was a copy of my book, Divine Favor: God Acts for You when Your enemies act against you. I gave the book to Prophet Jones and he blessed it with is eyes lit up.and told me how the message of this book was needed in the Body of Christ. He said that He had been praying all year that the body of Jesus would receive favor this year. He was genuinely excited with Divine Favor and I was more than appreciative of his words blessing this book. I told Prophet Jones about my dream and he nodded his head and said to me, "I see that you have been changed by the revelations that you have been receiving from the Lord." Then he shared what he saw me doing in the future harvest that he had just talked about.

Yes I have been changed, from glory to glory, by the revelations that I received and encountering Prophet Bob Jones was one of those revelations.

Today as I drove through my city I listened to one of the teaching Cd's that I have of Prophet Jones. He was speaking about prosperity as God revealed it to him. I was looking forward to other encounters with this very humble man of God. He was suppose to speak a gathering of creative artist last month in Asheville, the Next Step Gathering. I was planning on attending but couldn't get away. I was saddened to hear that Prophet Jones had broken his leg and wouldn't be able to attend but on one of the nights that I watched the Next Step Gathering Ray Hughes shared that Prophet Jones told him that the Lord said he wouldn't be taking the next step. Ray Hughes started to prophesy that it was time for the next generation to take the next step and God was saying that the baton was being passed. I don't know if any one knew it but Ray was prophesying the departure of Prophet Jones from the realm of earth to heaven. Prophet Jones has taken his steps as they were ordered by the Lord and this morning the Prophet took his step from earth to heaven.

It is prophetic that Bob Jones made his transition on Valentines Day. Prophet Jones has shared his experience of dying many years ago and going to heaven and hearing Jesus say Have you learned to love?  Jesus sent Bob Jones back to earth to show us how to love and on the day that we celebrate love Jesus called His prophet home into His arms where He is love.

I celebrate the life and legacy of Prophet Bob Jones and I pray for his wife Bonnie and his family, natural and spiritual. I praise You Father for allowing my path to intersect the path of Bob Jones.

  

THE RATS ARE OUT!

 

 

Every news media outlet has been telling us the shocking and scandalous news about the abuses that an office of the IRS has been accused of committing against conservative groups, among them churches. It is not my intent to give you my opinion on these matters, like many of you I pray that justice will prevail and this agency will be restored to a place of honor and integrity. My assignment is to communicate to you the plot of the devil in this matter. This is one more instance where the Body of Christ is called to see what God is saying through His prophets and prophetic community. Apostle Paul wrote to the church of Corinth, "For we know in part and we prophesy in part." (1 Corinthians 13:9).

 

I am sharing with you a dream and prophecy that I read this week given by Apostle Chuck Pierce, http://www.gloryofzion.org and a dream that I had on May 4, 2013. Chuck Pierce shares that he had this dream on May 28, 2012 as he was preparing to go to Chicago to minister at Truth and Deliverance Conference in Chicago Illinois.

 

"The Lord took me down into the sewage structure of Chicago. Rats were in a council. The rats were holding court in the sewer. They had a gavel. They had robes. They were gathered like a society and holding court in the sewage system. They were plotting. They were planning. It felt like it had been hours, watching and listening to their plotting. All of a sudden the rat with the gavel saw me. He commanded the whole group to move toward me and remove me from watching. They turned to lunge toward me and I awaken."

 

Apostle Pierce heard the Lord say this about the dream: The rats were plotting to stop the Kingdom movement. They were plotting to use the tax and debt structures to hold back God's plan of advancement. This is going to be exposed and broken and God's people will advance.   

 

On May 4, 2013 I dreamed that I was in a church and a rat came running out of the bathroom. I yelled at it and it ran across the building. I was standing in front of a doorway when suddenly a horde of rats came running out of the bathroom, the rats were pink and very large. As soon as I saw them I stepped back and closed the door separating myself from these creatures, but before the door was completely closed a few of the rats got through the door that I closed.

 

I searched for an interpretation of this dream through prayer and the Scriptures. What I saw was in part to what Chuck Pierce saw. He saw the rats in council in the sewage and I saw the rats coming out of the bathroom, which is connected to sewage. Apostle Pierce saw the rats in a secret council and I saw the rats exposed, running out of their secret place.

 

In this hour the Lord is saying, "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and His anointed." (Psalms 2:2).

 

The rats are out!

 

Pay attention to what God is saying to you in visions and dreams. Write them down and pray for understanding. It is time for God's people to hear God!

 

 

ARE YOU LIVING YOUR DREAMS?

What makes your life incredible? What sets you apart from every other person that inhabits the planet earth? It is your dreams that are formed in your imagination. A dream is the outward expression of your hope. It is the seed from which your future springs. It is a goal that you must reach to have something that you don't have.

Last week the world mourned the passing of Steve Jobs. Steve had a dream to produce a personal computer. With $1300 he started Apple. Today we have the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad, all the results of Steve Jobs dreams. Your dreams are the gateway to your future.

God gave a dream to Abraham. The Almighty found Abraham in the country of his ancestors and showed him another land and then God told Abraham that I want you to go and live there and I will make you a great nation. A couple of hundred year later God gave a dream to the great grandson of Abraham, his name was Joseph. God showed him that he would be a great man. God is the giver of dreams. Matter of fact this incredible planet that we live on called Earth is the result of one of God's dreams.

Your dreams are what puts passion in your life. It is the energy that causes you to rise every morning ready to live and pursue what God wants you to experience. Your dreams are what gives you focus in the midst of distractions. Your dreams rescue you from living a mediocre life.

So I want to tell you today. DREAM! If your dreams have died resurrect them. How do you do that? Start talking about your dreams to your dreams. That's what I said, talk to your dreams. There was a prophet named Ezekiel who God sent to a valley that was full of dead bones. Those dead bones are your dreams that were slaughtered and decimated by your pursuit of an mundane existence. God asked Ezekiel can these bones live? And then God told Ezekiel to speak to the bones. Ezekiel did what God told him to do and something miraculous started happening. The bones started to move, a sound was heard from the bones that were dead.

That's what you have to do with your dreams. Start talking to them. Start telling your dreams to live again. And then start speaking your dreams to those whom you love and trust. Write your dreams on paper and place them on the wall of your house. Write them down on a card and keep it in your wallet or purse. Pull it out several times a day and take a minute to meditate on it.

Then develop a plan to make your dream happen. What do you need to do to make this happen? What resources do you need to make your dream happen? Whose help do you need to make your dream happen? How long will it take to make your dream happen?

And then you pursue your plan daily. Give yourself daily and weekly goals and monthly goals. At least once a week spend a hour with yourself or with a team if you need one and evaluate your progress.

Ask God to give you a mentor. A person who can teach you in the area of your dream and can reduce your time to see the manifestation of your dream.

I hope that you have enjoyed reading my blogs as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Today I am launching a new blog with different focus. I will still write about the issues that matter to me and to you but I will be also be more focused on writing commentary that I believe will encourage and empower you.
The mission of this blog is for me to share with you stories and principles that will engage you in seeking a more fulfilling life. I believe that words have a powerful influence in all of our lives. They can make us and they can break us. Words have had the ability to change people's lives and correct devastating consequences.
Recently I was talking with a church leader at a leadership conference that I was teaching in and he asked me what turned my interest toward writing. I shared with him that an English professor in a college course that I was enrolled in told me that I had a gift and I should pursue writing. From my childhood I dreamed about writing but that dream did not become active until that professor spoke to me. It was his words that set me on the path that I am currently on almost twenty five years later. That's the role I want to have in your life. I want to be that person who speaks to you through my blogs and release the dreams that are within you. I believe that God created every person with a purpose and when we find that purpose and start to daily do what our purpose is than our life becomes a exciting adventure.
It is my intention to blog at least three days each week.
Mondays will be MEN MONDAY. I will write on what interest men and what men need to succeed. Wednesdays will be WOMEN WEDNESDAYS. I will write on the issues that are important to Women, I'm glad that I have a wife that can help me because I'm going to need her help! Fridays will be FICTION FRIDAYS, FINANCE FRIDAY, FAITH FRIDAY and FUN FRIDAY. I hope that you will be blessed and that you will visit many times. WHAT EVERY DREAM MEANS by Scott Shafer

A prophetic author has released a message to the Body of Christ and the world. That author is Scott Shafer and the message comes to us today in the form of a book titled, "What Every Dreams Means."
What words can I use to describe my journey over the last month as I have read and meditated over the words that Scott has produced from his wealth of knowledge on the subject of dreams. The words that come to mind are enlightened, empowered, edified and excited. Since I was a teenager I believed that God spoke to me in my dreams. This belief was strengthened by the characters in the Bible who dreamed. Men like Joseph, Solomon, Isaiah and Joseph the human father of our Lord Jesus. Yes I believed that God spoke and continues to speak though dreams. Even though my denominational background and my theological training did not support my belief I believed anyway.
I am totally convinced that because I never gave up believing that God does speak through dreams God brought Scott and his book into my life. And what an impact this book has had on me. The last five weeks have been some of the most incredible times in my life.
Like the gifted teacher that he is Scott has woven together an impassioned teaching tool that will enlarge the church ability to teach the meaning and message of dreams. Scott has restored to the Body of Christ a lost jewel that will enable us to hear clearly the voice of God spoken to His children in the night seasons. Never again will the Church be deceived about this divine method of communication.
Since I've been studying What Every Dreams Means the prophetic dreams that I have had all of my life and was largely ignorant to what they meant, had increased exponentially and some of them I have been able to even interpret. I am a more knowledgeable Teacher of God's Word because of What Every Dreams Means.
